Angelika
A screenplay and soundtrack
When the Berlin Wall tears through the heart of Germany, an East Berliner must face increasing crackdown while trying to reunite with his beloved who has been stranded on the other side. Angelika is a screenplay of historical fiction that tells the story of a couple, Alexander and Angelika, living in Germany during the time of the cold war. The bond between them runs so deep that only a wall could divide them, literally. As the Berlin Wall rips through the lives of millions and divides a country, Alexander is left cut off from his love. Angelika is about one man’s struggle, against all odds, to find his beloved in a time of increasing political violence. In addition to a screenplay, this project includes a soundtrack comprised of seven songs.
Personal Statement:
Christian is a writer and producer. Outside of his academic endeavors, he is relentless in his pursuit of his creative and professional goals. Aspiring to secure a prominent role in the music industry, Christian will be continuing his studies at NYU in a graduate program in Music Business.
