Sigma Xi at Tougaloo College, Jackson, Mississippi
In Spring 2014 was established a branch of the Sigma Xi Honor Society on the campus of Tougaloo College to induct students to the Society through the Brown Chapter.
Thru this partnership, high achieving science students are nominated for membership by faculty at Tougaloo College for membership into the Society.
This collaboration between Tougaloo College and Brown University adds to the distinctive programs that are part of the Brown-Tougaloo Partnership as BTP commemorates fifty years.

Dr. Wendy White, Co-Principal Investigator/Coordinator/Instructor of the Jackson Heart Study at Tougaloo College, is the Tougaloo Sigma Xi Advisor on-campus, working closely with Sigma Xi Brown Chapter Officers.
