The lab (Dr. Oh as the PI of the Brown University site) will be part of a multi-center longitudinal study, titled “Longitudinal multicenter head-to-head harmonization of tau PET tracers”, funded over $40 million by the National Institutes of Health. The study aims to examine different characteristics associated with tau PET tracers and to improve generalization of findings obtained in studies and clinical practice using distinct tau tracers. Congratulations, Dr. Oh and the lab!

We are so excited about Sucheta Chakravarty, Ph.D. joining the lab as a postdoctoral fellow! She has completed her Ph.D. with Dr. Jeremy Caplan at  University of Alberta, Canada, and will study neural correlates of visual memory representations in aging and preclinical Alzheimer’s disease using machine learning, fMRI, EEG, and PET. Welcome, Sucheta!

She has completed her Ph.D. with Dr. Ira Driscoll at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and will work on a collaborative project on risk and resilience in aging and Alzheimer’s disease pathology with Bill Heindel and Elena Festa in Brown’s CLPS department.
