Graduate students are evaluated and admitted through Brown’s standard admissions process. Please refer to the Graduate School Application Information page for more information. While students from many backgrounds work in the Darling Lab, most participate in the Biomedical Engineering graduate program.
Opportunities also exist for talented undergraduate students to pursue research in the lab. Potential new lab members are evaluated during the first couple weeks of the Fall semester. Sophomores and (rising) juniors are encouraged to send Dr. Darling a current resume/CV before then to indicate your interest.
Postdoctoral applicants with research experience that either matches or greatly complements ongoing projects in the Darling Lab will be considered, provided funding is available.
