“Konstantinos Koutrolikos is a theoretical physicist with primary research interests in supersymmetric field theories, supergravity, higher spin gauge theories and their intersection. Higher spin theory is an attempt to understand the possible higher symmetries that are believed to govern physics at trans-Planckian energy scales, but also can be seen as a laboratory for understanding AdS/CFT correspondence. Additionally, higher spins together with supersymmetry appear naturally in string theory. Konstantinos is working on the description of supersymmetric higher spin theories and their interactions. From this point of view, supergravity can be seen as a low spin member of such theories.”
