Brown University maintains a University Site License with the software vendor ESRI, Inc., providing a complete suite of Geographic Information System applications, including Desktop, Server, Mobile, and Software as a Service products.
These applications are varied in purpose, functionality, and how they are licensed across the University. Most require a significant amount of training for successful use, confidence in spatial analytical results, and sharing of web applications that are both meaningful and properly designed.

Brown’s ArcGIS Online Organization
If you are an individual member of the Brown community wishing to join the Brown ArcGIS Online Organization in order to license ArcGIS Pro, and/or use it for Web GIS,
please contact Lynn_Carlson@brown.edu and include a brief description of your expected use to ensure the correct permissions can be set on your account.
If you are an instructor / researcher, and would like to have accounts for multiple students in a class or on a research team, please email Lynn_Carlson@brown.edu with
