Dr. Minick is the Director of Research & Quality for Rehabilitation Services and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Research at Intermountain Healthcare. Her research is focused on the implementation of best practices, improving patient-reported outcomes, and identifying the value of physical therapy in a changing healthcare environment. She has 12 years of experience conducting clinical research, including large multi-disciplinary pragmatic trials, embedded research, and quality improvement. With the mentorship of Linda Resnik, PT, PhD, FAPTA her LeaRRn pilot award will examine the effectiveness and implementation of a novel high-value care pathway integrating physical therapists and sports medicine physicians to efficiently assess and guide patients through a knee osteoarthritis diagnosis.
