Chih-Ying “Cynthia” Li, OTR, PhD is an Associate Professor and a clinician-researcher in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Li’s goal is to better serve patients living with disabilities by producing scientific evidence in value-based rehabilitation and reduce unnecessary care cost due to preventable hospital readmissions. Dr. Li has expertise in disability science, measurement science, health services research, longitudinal aging research, comparative effectiveness research and implementation science.
As a LeaRRn scholar, Dr. Li will be working closely with AHCA/NCAL and Ensign Group, Inc. leadership and her mentor Dr. Janet Freburger from University of Pittsburgh.
