Jennifer Weaver, PhD, OTR/L, CBIS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Colorado State University. Dr. Weaver received her PhD in Translational Health Science from George Washington University. Dr. Weaver’s goal is to translate better measurement into clinical practice and healthcare policy through research. Dr. Weaver has expertise in Rasch Measurement Theory, qualitative approaches, implementation science, and quality improvement. 

Dr. Weaver is excited to partner with Dr. Mike Boninger and colleagues at UPMC Innovative Homecare Solutions (UIHS). Dr. Weaver will receive mentorship in establishing a learning health system from Dr. Janet Freburger. UIHS is interested in examining the outcomes of its Advanced Illness Care and Connected Care programs. We examined whether there were programmatic factors or individual characteristics associated with having a positive discharge disposition from the program.
