Burt and Ernie and Searching for Cleopatra

It’s a full day of Egyptian archaeology in the media.

7th International Congress on the Archaeology of the Ancient Near East

The deadline for paper proposals for the 7th International Congress on the Archaeology of the Ancient Near East (7ICAANE), to be held in London, is now approaching. Paper proposals for London 7ICAANE should be submitted by the end of the month: 30th April 2009.
Papers for the Fieldwork session only may be submitted by 30th September 2009. The extended deadline is to allow for the inclusion of papers on fieldwork undertaken during the summer.
The organizing committee will look at all of the proposals in the beginning of May. Potential speakers will be informed after this as to whether their paper has been accepted. Please submit your paper proposals online at: http://7icaane.intrabench.com/?showBookEvent1&EVENTID=5030&TID=38

Butrint Training Field School 2009

Albanian Heritage Foundation organizes an annual archaeological field training school for students. The course involves extensive practical teaching.
