Congratulations to our lab alumna Sonya Friman, current lab member Siyang Hao, a slew of undergraduate students from Brown and other universities, and all our collaborators from UNC and UMass on the publication of our paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, showing (for the first time) that starlings chose to fly in formation to save energy during group flight.
