Ayla Durst is a Project Manager at Brown University in the Center for Alcohol & Addiction Studies (CAAS). Ayla completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Rhode Island with a double major in English & French and a minor in Art. She received her Master’s from Brown University in Behavioral & Social Health Science. Ayla’s professional background includes over 10 years of work in the field of substance use.  Her positions have included psychiatric hospitals, residential behavioral facilities, and, most recently, the coordination of multi-site research projects that span across several states. In her spare time, Ayla likes hiking, powerlifting, playing soccer, and reading. She will take any opportunity to talk about her two cats, Tsunami and Typhoon.
