Peter M. Monti, PhD is the Donald G. Millar Distinguished Professor of Alcohol and Addiction Studies. He is also a senior career research scientist funded through a K05 from NIH. A recognized leader in understanding the bio-behavioral mechanisms that underlie addictive behavior as well as its prevention and treatment, Dr. Monti has published approximately 400 papers, monographs, and chapters. These are primarily focused in the areas of assessment, mechanisms, early intervention, and treatment.
