Janelle Schrag is the Senior Manager of Applied Research at the Whitman-Walker Institute, an affiliate of
Whitman-Walker Health. Janelle completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at Northwest University
and received her Master’s in Public Health from King’s College London. She has over ten years of
experience working at the intersection of healthcare and public health and has supported numerous
research studies focused on reducing disparities and improving health outcomes among historically
marginalized populations. In her spare time, Janelle is an avid crafter, movie-goer, and reader.
