Ruben Rivera’s professional background includes working in direct contact with clients at the LGBT Center first as an HIV counselor with the sexual health program then providing assistance to the research team as study coordinator to a number of sexual and behavioral studies including: testing devices for HIV and sexual transmissible infections, HIV medications, cardiovascular disease program, COVID tracing unit just to name a few. Ruben values the diversity of our community and enjoys becoming important part of each individual participating in the research program often developing a very close “professional friendship” making sure every participant feels not only welcomed but appreciated.
