Eric Darling receives NSF CAREER Award

Congratulations to Dr. Eric Darling on receiving a prestigious National Science Foundation CAREER Award to advance his research and teaching. This 5-year grant will support work investigating the spatial variation in gene expression and mechanical properties of stem cells to learn more about how they turn into specific cell types. Additionally, the funding will support outreach efforts to introduce interdisciplinary concepts to teachers and students in the local public school district.
