The application period for joining the University Resources Committee has been extended to March 29th!
We have been notified of second opening and therefore would like to offer more students the opportunity to apply. Yes, the nominations committee will be selecting TWO grad students to represent our community on the URC.
The University Resources Committee (URC) is responsible forrecommending the annual operating and capital budget to the President.
Are you interested in helping the university to allocate its funds? Are you an advocate for grad student representation?Do you have the negotiating skills to ensure that grad students obtain a fair piece of the fiscal pie?
We are looking for an applicant who has the confidence to work with executive administration, accurate knowledge of the budget issues confronting graduate education, and of course the passion to happily serve as a representative!
If you possess these qualities, then the URC needs you!

The URC meets once each week during the Fall Semester and once in late January – there is also a spring introductory meeting.
