We’ll be taking the ferry to and from Newport, and we invite you to join us! You have the option to spend time with the International Advocacy Committee or explore the city on your own.
Event Details: Date: Saturday, July 15th, 2023 Destination: Newport Leaving Providence: 8:30 AM at SeaStreak Ferry Terminal (25 India Street – Providence, RI 02903) [We’ll depart and return to the same port] Returning to Providence: Meet at the Newport Ferry Terminal at 5 PM.

Calling all Brown masters’ students! Come join SPS and GSC at the Grad Center BarTHIS THURSDAY (3/23) for our Spring Social! The event will take place from 7 PM-9 PM, and 2 free drink tickets will be given to the first 75 masters’ students. Light snacks will also be provided. Remember to bring your state-issued ID or passport, or you will not be allowed entry!
The Graduate Student Council invites current and new graduate students to join us on Simmons Quad, September 2nd at 9pm, for food, drinks, and music as we kick off the new year! We will provide you with two drink tickets that can be redeemed for beer and wine, and there will also be water and soft drinks available. We will serve some light appetizers, including vegan and vegetarian friendly options. Graduate students are allowed to bring one guest with them for this event. GibranPVD will be spinning for us, so come ready to celebrate as we welcome everyone back to campus!
You will need to bring your Brown ID and state/international ID to enter (guests only need to bring their state/international ID). Additional drink tickets are available to purchase at the event for $5 CASH. See the flyer attached for more details.
The Graduate Student Council is collaborating with the School of Professional Studies to host a master’s student Happy Hour on 9th September 2022 from 4 -6 pm. The event will be held at The Guild PVD Beer Garden, which is across the pedestrian bridge (the address is 200 Dyer St.). If you are a current master’s student, please come and join us for this event. There will be two free drink tickets for the first 100 students. Water and snacks will also be provided.
