Executive Officers of the GSC are elected by the Departmental Representatives at the general meeting at the start of the fall semester or whensoever a vacancy arises.
If you wish to serve on the Executive, check the Officers’ page to see if there are any vacancies. If the position that interests you is currently filled, you may wish to contact the current officer to assess when it may become open and what the job entails.
It is advisable, but not required, that you serve on the corresponding committee before seeking a position in the Executive (Communications for Secretary or Tech, Finance for Treasurer, Social for VP of Social, and so on). Committee opportunities will be announced at and in advance of general meetings.
