“aDROIT: Nick Huang’s Senior Recital for One and Both Hands”
Personal Statement:
Nicholas Huang is a senior graduating with a degree in Music and an honors degree in Biology. He studies piano with Saleem Abboud Ashkar and plays as a cellist in both the Brown University Orchestra and the Chamber Music program. Previous engagements at Brown include a solo recital in May and two performances of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with the Brown University Orchestra. Nick also serves as co-president of the music performance group Healing Through Harmony and enjoys cycling and cooking in his free time. After graduation, Nick plans on attending a master’s program in biology in Europe before returning to the States for his medical degree.
